Bucket List

So the list is currently fairly short, but is already overwhelming. I am trying to come up with something reading related, but don’t have a clue. Any suggestions?

1. Complete a (sprint) triathlon – I completed a super sprint triathlon, but that is so short I don’t think it counts.

2. Finish a 100 mile bike ride.

3. Run a half marathon.

4. Publish an article (engineering or architecture related)

5. Hike the entire Appalachian Trail – I have done about 50 miles of it, the entire thing is around 2,200 miles. I am 2.2% of the way there!

6. Backpack in Hawaii

7. Hike the entire Pacific Crest Trail (2,663 miles and I have not started it)

8. Visit 6 continents

    • Africa
    • Asia
    • Australia
    • Europe

9. Pass the SE licensure exam (become licensed structural engineer)

10. Skydive

11. Present at a conference (engineering or architecture related)

12. Successfully grow tomatoes – I have attempted several times (all in containers), none have been successful

13. Have a quilt published in a magazine or book.

14. Pass all 7 ARE exams (become a registered architect)

15. Cliff jumping – Apparently where I went, Rick’s Cafe in Negril Jamaica is on the list of the 10 most dangerous places. If I had known that ahead of time, I probably wouldn’t have done it.

16. Marry my best friend – Complete as of 2/23/13
